Bagasse Is a material made of sugar cane. After extraction of the syrup, the pulp is then compressed and processed for the manufacturing of the containers. These containers can be used in the microwave. Once disposed of they are fully compostable going back into soil within 40 - 90 days, it is an excellent alternative to Styrofoam and Polystyrene coated containers of which is now being banned by many cities and countries.
